We would like to extend an open invitation to the youth in our local communities of Allagash, Cross Lake, Daigle, Eagle Lake, Frenchville, Madawaska, New Canada, Plaisted, Portage, Quimby, St. Agatha,
St. Francis, St. John Plt, Sinclair, Soldier Pond, Violette Settlement, Wallagrass, and of course, Winterville, to join us each Saturday from 1-3 as we learn about our heritage. We look forward to seeing you there!


Wesget Sipu Heritage Center Open House
The Staff and Volunteers of theWesget Sipu Heritage Center would liketo thank everyone that helped to make our Open House a great success.
Our honored guests included Bob "Silver Eagle" Brawn, Grand Chief and Doug "Black Wolf" Bordeaux, First Chief of the Metis of Maine; Congressman Mike Michaud, Mr Donald Paul, Mr Norman Bernard, Windy Grass Singers and many more.
We were proud to have Chief Donat Cyr, Windy Grass Singers and some of our youth take part in the Opening Ceremony and Blessing for the CanAm Crown Sled Dog Race.
